The Harron Custom Guitars Setup Masterclass for Acoustics!
Just bring your own guitar, and we will walk you through the rest!

We don't just cover the 'how' we also talk about the 'why' as it's important to understand the fundamentals of these different topics.
You will learn how to perfect your guitars setup for your particular playing style and save a ton of money in the process, no more long wait times from your tech and no more expensive adjustments.

In this fun and informative 8 hour hands on class we will be covering the following tasks:
- Action adjustments
- Fretwork Theory
- Problem solving (Rattles, buzzes, Bad action)
- Tuning instability improvements
- Fret cleaning
- General body/fingerboard maintenance
- Acoustic humidification and care
- Correct re stringing method
- Truss rod adjustments
- Fault finding
- Personalised setup styles for various playing
- Intonation
- And last but not least, how to craft a compensated bone saddle from a saddle blank, complete with string radius, compensated intonation, and the right width/length to perfectly fit your saddle slot.

Why do we host these classes? We don't believe in a "One size fits all" guitar set up. Just as you are an individual, so is your playing style, and so will be your set up preference, and just like changing your own car tire, you should know how to setup your own guitars!

"After completing the class with Michael, I walked away with the confidence and knowledge needed to set up and service my own guitars, immediately saving myself time and money" - Jason, Masterclass Student.

"The setup Masterclass was super educational! I was always told not to adjust my own truss rod, turns out it's not as scary as it sounds! I'm able to setup my entire guitar collection rather than take them to a tech one by one" - Kelly, Masterclass Student

- All experience levels welcome
, no matter if you are Shreddie Mercury, or if you've just picked up the guitar for the first time, you will be guided through the entire process step by step.

- All Acoustic guitars welcome. Got a Classical guitar you're struggling to re string? Have a takamine with a split 2pc saddle? Bring it along, we can work with that!

After working with Artists such as Parkway Drive, The Living End, Thy Art is Murder, as well as Aria Award Winners Northlane and Angus and Julia Stone and many more, we have an understanding of all playing styles and guitar types, in order to facilitate your set up requirements.
