Have you ever wanted to learn how to install your own pickups? Or maybe even modify your wiring? Or perhaps problem solve and swap out faulty components? Well the HCG Electronics Masterclass is going to greatly benefit you.

Why are we doing this? - "When i started repairing there were no hands on tutorials, I had to learn by trial and error which can be incredibly daunting for someone who's never picked up a soldering iron. So i wanted to solve these problems for you, providing you with the knowledge and confidence to tackle your own wiring, saving you both time and money." _ Michael Harron

In this class students will learn:

- Theory surrounding electronic components and their operation - including Polarity, in/out of phase, pickup construction, electronic component construction and breakdown.

- How to correctly install and uninstall pickups 

- Correct soldering methods (If it smells like chicken you're holding it wrong!)

- Wiring of a super 5 way switch

- Wiring of a push pull potentiometer

- Various problem solving including grounding, multimeter testing and faulty components.

All students will be completing these tasks on a loaded pick-guard supplied by Harron Custom Guitars, to keep the classes uniformity when folowing along instructions, just as we do in our Hands-On Setup Masterclasses!
